FUN VS FOOD
New Moon Press was founded in 1994 to publish “Wetland Riders” and win support from seafood consumers in Louisiana whose access to their wild-caught redfish and other coastal finfish was threatened by an exploding recreational fishery. As the movement spread across the gulf, former commercial fisherman and National Fisherman reporter Robert Fritchey documented the landmark state-by-state battles that left sportsmen happy and seafood consumers with empty plates. Grandma called it “investigative journalism.”
