New Moon Press was founded in 1994 as an alternative to urban media’s disparaging coverage of the fishing industry. Former commercial fisherman and National Fisherman reporter Robert Fritchey documents landmark battles over red drum and other finfish that left seafood consumers with empty plates. Grandma called it “investigative journalism.”
